An airline with 25 international locations throughout 19 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean
required a robust network topology to support their operation in various airports.
The requirement was to provide a high availability solution with dual Internet Access along with logistic support to procure and install Routers, Switches, and out of band modems.
In many cases, the challenge was to bring in a diverse circuit into the airports.
This required working closely with local airport authorities to facilitate permits and local requirements. Our project managers were able to deliver the new Internet Access into airports that met the customer’s diversity requirements.
Implementing an out-of-the-box solution was vital to the project.
An important component of the initiative was to deliver Cisco routers and switches with a 24/7 maintenance service contract. The challenge was to provide logistical support and install the equipment in a timely manner. 24/7 support was provided by local companies, which allowed us to comply with the Airport Service Level Agreement.
